About the Vauxhall Vivaro
Built in the UK, the Vauxhall Vivaro was first produced in 2001. The Vauxhall Vivaro 1 was based on the second-gen Renault Trafic and produced between 2001 and 2014. The Vauxhall Vivaro 2 was based on the third-gen Renault Trafic and produced between 2014 and 2018 and the Vauxhall Vivaro 3, which is as we currently know it, is based on the Citroën Dispatch, as is the Peugeot Traveller.
Since its production, people have been using the Vivaro as a base for campervan conversions, although its smaller size has meant a pop top is preferred. They’re also better suited to couples or single travellers than families.
About the Vivaro Elite Campervan
In early 2021, after a boom in campervan demand, Vauxhall teamed up with Wellhouse Leisure to create the Vivaro Elite Campervan. Priced from £46,000 with a range of additional add-ons, including a handmade star effect interior ceiling, the Vivaro Elite has been heralded as affordable and practically made.
And, for those who are looking to make the switch to more sustainable fuel sources, an e-Vivaro Elite is planned in the works.
