Replacement Car Cover

Replacement car cover from Just Kampers Insurance guarantees you a hire vehicle if your own vehicle can’t be driven.

This optional policy benefit will ensure that you can get back on the road in a hire vehicle if the vehicle you insure is:
• Stolen and un-recovered,
• Written off or rendered undrivable,
• Maliciously damaged by a third party,
• Damaged in a fire.

How does Replacement Car Cover work?

You can request a replacement vehicle if your own vehicle is stolen and unrecovered, written off or rendered undriveable after an accident which was at least partly your fault.

We’ll provide you with a replacement vehicle for up to 14 days or, in the event of an appropriate vehicle not being available, you’ll be reimbursed £150.

How much does Replacement Car Cover cost?

We can offer you three different types of replacement car cover, depending on what vehicle you’re insuring. These options are:
• Private Car or Van cover, which costs £33 per year,
• Adapted Car or Van cover, which costs £33 per year,
• Motorhome cover, which costs £47 per year.

What type of replacement cars are available?

We’ll aim to provide you with a vehicle which is 3 years old or newer, and as similar as possible to the vehicle you’re insuring with us.

If you’re claiming for a motorhome, then the replacement will be no more than 4-berth.

How do I make a claim for Replacement Car Cover?

If the vehicle you’re insuring with Just Kampers Insurance is stolen or rendered undrivable, as described further up this page, then you should report it to us as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after the event.
