The Beetle is mostly in her original paint and has standard running gear. Before we bought her in the USA, a previous owner had re-trimmed the hood and interior.
How long have I owned it, and how did I get it?
I’ve owned Ruby since 2015, and she was imported a few years ago from sunny California.
How long have you been Interested in VWs?
It has been my life since I was 17 years old.
Any interesting holidays and trips you have taken it on?
My wife and I have driven our Cabrio to Italy twice, Lands End to John O’Groats and the NC500 around Scotland.
Any other interesting bits about your Cabriolet VW Beetle?
Ruby is mostly in her original paint and has standard running gear. Before we bought her in the USA, a previous owner had retrimmed the hood and interior. Just Kampers Insurance insure Ruby with an agreed value policy.
Do you own any other VWs?
We have owned over 200 Air-cooled VW’s over the years! But today we have in the garage next to Ruby our 1970 VW Camper, again a USA import with a standard Westfalia interior.
