My van is fully kitted out for van-life, with a fully working kitchen and shower. Solar panels, 240v electrics and hook up, storage for all our clothes, surfing gear, bikes, etc. We kitted it out with a Sargent 240v / gas water pump, so that we can enjoy piping hot water. We also had a Bullfinch external shower fitted, which is perfect for washing off the surfboards and our dog!

Externally, we fitted an awesome Fiamma 45s wind-out awning to extend our living space.

How long have I owned it, and how did I get it?
I took delivery of my Crafter in August 2024. It started out as just a standard one-owner, panel, delivery van and the journey to convert it into a fully habitable, off-grid campervan was undertaken by the talented team at Just Kampers.

Since we took ownership of our VW Crafter, our family has been exploring locally to test all the systems and get used to campervan living. I’m happy to report that everything went well, and we had a great time. We’re also planning some trips further afield in the UK and even into Europe.

Just the VW Crafter at present, but we’ve owned several VWs in the past, including a VW Up GTI, Golf GTI and a T6 Transporter. The Crafter is our first proper VW Campervan. I can safely say that we are totally hooked!
